2023 Formula SAE Competition
Formula SAE is one of the toughest projects that a student can take. The project pushes students to design, fabricate, test, and compete a small formula style vehicle against 120 other universities across the country. My tasks during the year was to design the chain drive components of the drivetrain and to operate a HAAS VF4SS to manufacture parts for the team. We worked hard during the year while spending more than 40 hours a week in the Gene Haas Laboratory in order to complete the vehicle. As a result, our vehicle was overall 15th placeout of 120 schools, 12th place in the design event, and 13th place in the endurance event.
